📌 Introduction
We use different expressions to make suggestions in speaking and writing. These are useful in group discussions, problem-solving, and everyday conversations.
Example: “We should recycle more.” or “Why don’t we start a science club?”
📚 Ways to Make Suggestions
- Should: “You should study more.”
- Could: “We could organize a clean-up day.”
- Why don’t we…?: “Why don’t we start a recycling program?”
- Let’s: “Let’s plant trees in the schoolyard.”
- What about…?: “What about collecting plastic bottles?”
- How about…?: “How about helping the community?”
Tip: Use polite and constructive language when suggesting ideas.
