📌 Introduction
We use Conditional Type 0 for scientific facts and habits, and Conditional Type 1 for real future possibilities.
Type 0: If you heat ice, it melts. (Always true)
Type 1: If it rains, we will stay home. (Possible future)
🟢 Conditional Type 0 (General Truths)
Use: Scientific facts, natural laws, habits
- If you heat water, it boils.
- If plants don’t get light, they die.
- If you don’t sleep, you feel tired.
Science Fact: “If you mix acid and base, they react.”
🟡 Conditional Type 1 (Real Future)
Use: Possible future situations, promises, warnings
- If it rains, we will stay home.
- If you study, you will pass the exam.
- If the experiment works, we will present it.
School Context: “If you finish your homework, you will get a good grade.”
