What Are These Words?
We’re = We are
We’re is a short way to say we are.

They’re = They are
They’re is a short way to say they are.
We use it when talking about other people (not including ourselves).

Asking Questions
Are they…?
When we want to ask about other people, we use are they at the beginning of our question.
This helps us find out information about what others are doing or feeling.
We want to know if other people will come.
We want to know if those people are friends.
We want to know how others feel.
